Hello dear sir\Madam, I am Joseph Duop Akujuel Akol. I am a South Sudanese refugee living in Egypt and registered with the UNHCR in Egypt. I am resettled to Netherlands by the UNHCR Egypt since 2019 and I supposed to travel on 8,10,2019 with my family, unfortunately we were stopped by the airport authorities claiming that the travel documents of my Nephew and myself were not legal. Now we're still in Egypt for 9 Months. We are now in critical condition. The Egyptian authorities are still refusing to issue to us an exit visa to Netherlands, even though the Dutch Embassy and the UNHCR in Egypt tried their best to intervene but the authorities are still not convinced.
Lawyer's Assistant: Where are you located? It matters because laws vary by location
What can you do to help us travel to the Netherlands?
Lawyer's Assistant: Has anything been filed or reported?
No, our travel documents are with IOM Egypt. We are not aware of what is taking place until now!!!!
Lawyer's Assistant: Anything else you want the lawyer to know before I connect you?

We would like to inform you that you as you are refugees and you want to go to the Netherlands and the Egyptian authorities refuse to allow you to leave because your papers and your brother are not valid despite the intervention of the Dutch authorities in this regard without success, the only legal solution is to obtain a court ruling, and in order to obtain a court ruling, a final administrative decision must be issued to refuse your travel and this is what I will explain to you in detail as follows:
First: You have to submit an official application with the General Directorate of Immigration and Passports in Egypt to allow you to travel. You can contact the General Directorate of Immigration and Passports through the following link:
General Directorate of Immigration and Passports
Second: After the General Directorate of Immigration and Passports rejected the request in this case, you got a final administrative decision not to agree to travel
Third: Within 60 days from the date of issuing the decision and informing you about it, you should go to the administrative court and appeal this decision and request its repeal for breaking the law. The court will consider the appeal and decide on it and cancel the decision not to travel
Fourth: After obtaining the judicial ruling, you must take a certified copy of the ruling in the executive form and go to the General Directorate of Immigration and Passports and start travel procedures.
